School Introduction

The University of Pennsylvania is an Ivy League institution, ranked #15 in the 2026 QS World University Rankings. Founded in 1740, predating the founding of the United States, by founding father Benjamin Franklin, it is the fourth-oldest university in America and the first modern institution of higher education in the U.S. to engage in scientific, technological, and humanities education. It is the birthplace of ENIAC (the world's first general-purpose electronic computer), the hepatitis B vaccine, the rubella vaccine, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more.

The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School was established in 1790 and is one of the earliest law schools in the United States.

Program Details

A 3-week program: the first 2 weeks cover law school courses, and the final week explores specialized legal fields such as corporate law, environmental law, intellectual property law, and more.
